|reason=It's neat, but the balance rating is definitely not the same as the monk or the barbarian (which, admittedly, is a problem with the base class itself, and is why alternatives are sought after, but it's just my opinion that alternate class features should always involve an even trade). It feels like it would have been better off as its own homebrew class with a clear balance rating, but this serves its purpose well enough. The damage reduction scares me, but then again it's probably just me not being used to seeing effective amounts of damage reduction on a class.
On the other hand, the names of the class features were very amusing and fun to read. The rest of the class features seem gucci.

The balance rating is probably not the same.  That's ok.  If anything it is intended, anything would be better than straight monk.  I'm surprised you think the DR is intense, it's the typical 1/2 HD scaling business.  As for Focus Rage, you can rage whenever you want like normal.  It's just that if for some reason you are not raging at the start, you get additional bonuses for your patience.

You would pick Con over Charisma because you were going to invest in Con anyway.  Everyone needs Con, thus if you are more MAD and have charisma the benefit is a bit better.
