This spell functions exactly as the spell [[SRD:Dancing_Lights|''dancing lights'']], except as noted here. As an attack action, the caster may cause one of the dancing lights to expend itself as ray of blinding, damaging light. The dancing light makes a ranged touch attack against a single creature within 30 feet, using the caster's BAB and adding the caster's casting modifier to the attack roll. A creature struck takes 1d8 damage, +1 additional damage per caster level (maximum 5). Creatures struck must also make a Fortitude save or become [[SRD:Dazzled|dazzled]] for 1 round/level. A successful Fortitude save negates the dazzled effect but not the damage. Once all four dancing lights have been fired as rays, the spell is discharged.
