A slender weapon is a heavily refined and modified weapon, allowing it to be used with a high amount of agility. Typically a slender weapon has thinner, more balanced blades, without sacrificing the weapon’s length.

The creator of a slender weapon must have 5 ranks in the appropriated [[SRD:Craft Skill|craft]] skill.

The slender item template can only be applied to one-handed or two-handed weapons that can’t be used with weapon finesse.

A slender weapon deals damage as a weapon one size category smaller than a normal weapon of its kind. You can use the [[SRD:Weapon Finesse|Weapon Finesse]] [[SRD:Feats|feat]] to apply your [[SRD:Dexterity|Dexterity]] modifier instead of your [[SRD:Strength|Strength]] modifier to [[SRD:Attack Roll|attack rolls]] with a slender weapon sized for you, even though it isn’t a [[SRD:Light Weapon|light weapon]] for you.
