This [[SRD:Holy Symbol|holy symbol]] is dedicated to the Goddess Vyx, who afford protection to mortals against the thing beyond the veil of the stars. Simply wearing the symbol increase the [[Mindbreak (3.5e Variant Rule)|Mindbreak]] threshold of the wearer by 2, additionally effect which would cause instant mindbreak do not function on the wearer. 

If the wearer possess the True Believer<sup>[[Publication:Magic Item Compendium|MIC]]</sup> feat and worship Vyx, then the holy symbol grant her increased protection. Her [[Mindbreak (3.5e Variant Rule)|Mindbreak]] threshold increase by 10 and cannot be reduced by anyway, including through having dark insight. The wearer is also immune to any form of magical [[SRD:Insanity|''insanity'']] or [[Psychosis (3.5e Condition)|psychosis]], although she is still vulnerable to effects that merely confuse her.

While held by a true believer, the Seal of Vyx radiate strong abjuration and has an effective caster level of 20th. 

Some aberration hunters craft their Seal from [[Germanium Alloy (3.5e Equipment)|germanium alloy]], allowing it to be used as an improvised weapon against aberration. Doing so merely cost an extra 200 gp worth of material.
