“Fiendish” is an inherited template that can be added to any corporeal [[SRD:Aberration Type|aberration]], [[SRD:Animal Type|animal]], [[SRD:Dragon Type|dragon]], [[SRD:Fey Type|fey]], [[SRD:Giant Type|giant]], [[SRD:Humanoid Type|humanoid]], [[SRD:Magical Beast Type|magical beast]], [[SRD:Monstrous Humanoid Type|monstrous humanoid]], [[SRD:Ooze Type|ooze]], [[SRD:Plant Type|plant]], or [[SRD:Vermin Type|vermin]] of nongood alignment (referred to hereafter as the base creature).

A fiendish creature uses all the base creature’s statistics and abilities except as noted here. Do not recalculate the creature’s [[SRD:Hit Dice|Hit Dice]], [[SRD:Base Attack Bonus|base attack bonus]], saves, or [[SRD:Skill Points|skill points]] if its type changes.
