A user who already has [[Beam_Blast_(3.5e_Invocation)|Beam Blast]] has the ability has to keep his ki flowing into a beam attack. This beam takes a full round action to prepare and provokes an attack of opportunity. If struck a user must make a concentration check to continue the attack. The beam can then can be fired on the user's following turn as a full round action. This attack automatically deals the normal Ki Volley damage, and the user can spend 5 points of ki to add 2d6 damage to the attack. He may spend 10 ki per class level on the beam. This ki is spent during the first full round action. 

The beam is a ranged touch attack with a Reflex save for half damage. (DC = 25 + the users Dexterity modifier + 12(Grand Master Ki invocation)).
If the beam misses the original target completely it continues on for 1 mile per class level until it strikes another creature or object. The beam must also hit a secondary creatures touch AC and must then also make the same Reflex saving throw as the original. If it strikes an unattended object or surface such as a wall, mountain or ground, then it bypasses any objects hardness and that surface or object takes the damage instead with no save. A user can take no other actions while using this ability including move and move equivalent actions and even free actions.

If the blast hits, it explodes in a 5ft + 5ft/class level radius, dealing damage to all those in its radius. This effect acts similar to a bullrush, with the exception of it either pushing the opponent upward or outward at the user's discretion. (DC = 29 + 1/2 class level + Wisdom Modifier + 1 per every 5 points of damage dealt) If the creature struck wins this opposed check, they are simply knocked prone. If they fail, they are sent flying back from point of impact for 10ft for every 5 points difference in the opposed strength check, and take falling damage as normal. If they hit a solid object, such as a wall, before the distance is met, they take an additional 1d6 points of falling damage and end there movement in an adjacent legal square within 5 feet, or the nearest legal square. If they hit another creature before the distance is met, that struck creature takes half of the falling damage the original creature would take, rolled separately. If the struck creature is an equal size or smaller than the original knocked back creature, they must also succeed in an opposed bull rush check, using the same result already determined but minus 10, or be knocked prone.
