Baphomet is a relatively new and minor demon prince seeking power to command respect amongst his peers. As such, his ravaged are created with the particular goal of exemplifying his strength through their own.

As the prince of strength, Baphomet chooses his ravaged carefully; as the prince of tyranny, he ensures their continued loyalty. However, if for some unfathomable reason they choose to forsake his gifts and risk his ire, they lose access to any spells, spell-like abilities and supernatural abilities from this class, and cannot continue to advance in it. They may [[SRD:Atonement|atone]] if they want to continue advancing and get their powers back, but such flip-flopping is not considered a sign of strength and is not likely to be appreciated by the Crown Bull.
