|summary=Much like Monk, Barbarian is designed in a self-limiting way by putting too much power into a single ability - Rage, in Barbarian's case. This ACF intends to make Barbarian feel a little bit better, while keeping its purpose similar.

|benefit1name=Unarmored Defense
|benefit1desc=At 1st level, by stubbornly maintaining your ground instead of constantly trying to dodge incoming attacks, your experience and honed adrenaline allow you to avoid or shrug off blows more controlled or dexterous warriors would be unable to endure or react to.

Whenever you are wearing no armor, your AC is equal to 10 + your Proficiency bonus, plus your Constitution or Dexterity modifier, whichever is higher. You can use a shield and still gain this benefit. 

''Unarmored Defense'' replaces the feature of the same name normally gained by the Barbarian class at 1st level.

|benefit2desc=At 1st level, you gain a Passion Die, representing your emotional resolve and the strength of your anger, determination, and grit. This die begins as a d4, and increases in size as your gain levels, as shown in the Passion Die column of the Passionate Barbarian table above. Several of your features such as your Rage, use your Passion Die in order to function.

Additionally, you can roll your Passion Die in place of the normal damage of your unarmed strikes. 

|benefit3name=Resolve
|benefit3desc=Your determination and fury allow you to endure blows that would cripple an ordinary warrior. This is represented by your Resolve Pool, which contains damage that you Delay whenever you Rage. Damage that is Delayed enters your Resolve Pool, though any effects tied to that damage, like a Monk's ''Stunning Strike'', are not postponed and take effect as normal.

|benefit4desc=In battle, you fight with primal ferocity. On your turn, you can enter a Rage as a bonus action.

While Raging, you gain the following benefits if you aren't wearing heavy armor:

*You have advantage on Strength checks and Strength saving throws.

*When you make a melee weapon attack, you may deal additional damage equal to one roll of your Passion Die. 

*Each time you suffer bludgeoning, piercing, or slashing damage while Raging, you may roll your Passion Die, and Delay an amount of Damage equal to the number rolled, adding it to your Resolve Pool. When your Rage ends, you suffer half of the damage that was Delayed by your Resolve pool during that Rage (Rounded down). 

If you are able to cast spells, you can't concentrate on them while raging.

Your rage lasts for 1 minute. It ends early if you are knocked unconscious, or if your turn ends and you haven't attacked a hostile creature since your last turn or taken damage since then. You can also end your rage on your turn as a bonus action.

Once you have raged the number of times shown for your barbarian level in the Rages column of the Barbarian table, you must finish a long rest before you can rage again.
