Used for meditation and scrying, the oculus dais imparts special benefits to those who sit in the middle and attune themselves over the course of 1 minute.  Any divination effects used come at +1 caster level, and they may roll twice and take the better result when rolling for failure chances (such as with ''[[SRD:Augury|augury]]'').  The platform is also a focus for ''[[SRD:Scrying|scrying]]'', with the images projected holographically above and around the dais itself.

Over the course of 10 minutes the use may enter a trance, allowing them to project their mind and walk, invisibly, inaudibly, and incorporeally anywhere they are able to move on their own means.  You have your normal movement speeds available, as you are not truly incorporeal.  However, they cannot interact with the world in any way, so closed doors prove impassable.  You cannot employ any form of teleportation effect or planar travel, as doing so merely shunts you back to your body.  They may remain in this state for as long as they wish (their body continues to hunger and age and is helpless).  ''[[SRD:See Invisibility|See invisibility]]'' does not reveal their presence, but ''[[SRD:Detect Scrying|detect scrying]]'' and ''[[SRD:True Seeing|true seeing]]'' reveals the presence of a scrying sensor in their position.  A standard action, or a single point of damage from any effects which can interact with ethereal creatures shunts the user back to their body.  If your body is disturbed, you know you've been disturbed but no other information.  It is possible to return to a body which is dead, in which case you die upon your return.
