|benefit=Choose an alignment. The chosen alignment must be within one step of your current one. For the purpose of your incarnum defence and incarnum radiance abilities, you are considered to be of the chosen alignment as well as your actual one. 

Additionally, you can continue to gain levels in both the incarnate[[Publication:Magic of Incarnum|<sup>MoI</sup>]] and soulborn[[Publication:Magic of Incarnum|<sup>MoI</sup>]], even if your current alignment would not normally allow this. Your meldshaper level for your incarnate and soulborn level is equal to the total of your incarnate and soulborn class levels. Furthermore, your levels in incarnate and soulborn stack for the purpose of determining the number of times per day you can use your incarnum radiance ability and the number of times per day that you can use your smite opposition ability.
