|benefit=When attacking with a projectile weapon, the penalty to attack rolls for targeting something beyond its first range increment is reduced by a number equal to half your ranks in Spot (Rounded down) to a minimum of 0.  Additionally, the range at which you may apply precision based damage (such as Sneak Attack) increases by 5ft for every 4 ranks you have in Spot.

|example=A Ranger with this feat and six ranks in the Spot skill attacks a target at a distance of 150ft using a shortbow with a range increment of 60ft.  The Ranger takes only a -1 penalty to the attack roll from distance, ignoring the other three points of attack penalty due to his six ranks in Spot.    A Rogue with this feat and 8 ranks in spot will be able to apply precision based damage from their sneak attack class feature from as far as 40ft away.

|normal=A Ranger without this feat would take the normal -4 penalty for making the above mentioned attack roll.  A Rogue's ranged sneak attack is limited to 30ft.

|special=This feat may be used in place of the Far Shot feat to meet any future prerequisites.  Additionally, if you possess the Zen Archery Feat, you may add your Wisdom bonus to damage rolls with your chosen ranged weapon.
