A simple item of survival, the heart pendant grants its user bonus hit points which upon being damaged they may apply the damage to the bonus hp instead of their normal hp.  However this bonus hp can never be repaired or recovered, and once the last hit point is used from the pendent it breaks.  You do not need to apply damage to the bonus hp first, nor is it temporary hp.  You can only benefit from one heart pendant at a time.

Minor pendents hold 10 hp.  Moderate pendents hold 30 hp.  Major pendents hold 50 hp.
