The gauntlet of darkness functions as a weapon augment crystal for any weapon held in the hand that bears it, including unarmed strikes and feral weapons, but not natural attacks. If the weapon already has a weapon augment crystal slotted into it, that crystal takes priority and the gauntlet of darkness provides no magical benefit.

The wearer gains a +1 bonus to the caster level of [Darkness] spells.

The gauntlet may be enhanced as used as a weapon in its own right, and is otherwise masterwork, gaining the effects below to its own attacks as they apply.
