|benefit=You may wield exotic weapon you are not proficient with as their closest martial or simple weapon equivalent, you must still meet any requirement beside weapon proficiency in order to wield the weapon. You use the martial weapon damage or the exotic weapon damage, whichever is lower. The weapon keep it weight but otherwise act exactly as the martial weapon and count as the martial weapon for the purpose of interacting with feats and abilities. 
|example=You could wield a [[Gigas Sword (3.5e Equipment)|Gigas Sword]] as [[SRD:Greatsword|Greatsword]], it deal 2d6 damage as a regular [[SRD:Greatsword|Greatsword]] but weight 50 lbs and require Str 15 to wield, with a -2 penalty on attack rolls.
