This spell acts like ''[[SRD:Teleportation Circle|teleportation circle]]'', but limited to the range and other restrictions of ''[[SRD:Dimension Door|dimension door]]'' rather than ''[[SRD:Greater Teleport|greater teleport]]''.  Like ''teleportation circle'', this spell can be made permanent with a ''[[SRD:Permanency|permanency]]'' spell (3000 XP). A permanent ''dimensional pathway'' that is disabled becomes inactive for 10 minutes, then can be triggered again as normal. 

Note: Magic traps such as ''dimensional pathway'' are hard to detect and disable. A rogue (only) can use the Search skill to find the circle and Disable Device to thwart it. The DC in each case is 25 + spell level, or 31 in the case of ''dimensional pathway''.
