There is two ways of using this item. First is inject one third of the serum into one's arm, doing so is a full-round action that provoke an attack of opportunity. Within 1 round of the injection the arm become swollen, hairy and grotesque, becoming a [[Bloodcursed Lycanthrope (3.5e Template)|claw]] [[Feral Strike (3.5e Variant Rule)|feral strike]]. The claw deal damage as if the user was one size category large, however the use's arms become unable to handle weapon and most items and most people react poorly to the sight The transformation last for 1 hour.

Alternatively the user can inject the entire content of the serum into his or her neck as a full-roudn action which provoke an attack of opportunity, doing so will cause the user to gain the [[Bloodcursed Lycanthrope (3.5e Template)|bloodcurse lycanthrope]] template for 6 hours. The transformation is dire and deal the user 6 points of [[SRD:Constitution|constitution]] [[SRD:Ability Burn|burn]] upon wearing off. 

No matter how it is used the serum has a number of side effects:
* The user gain [[Damage Susceptibility (3.5e Creature Ability)|DS]] 10/Silver for 24 hours after consuming the serum.
* The user lose mannerism and and tend toward fulfilling his or her darker desire, the user's alignment shift one step toard chaos and one step toward evil. Additionally non-hostile non-evil creatures are one step unfriendlier towards you than normal (to a minimum of unfriendly). This is only an 'initial attitude' - if you take any actions that harm or help them, their attitude will adjust appropriately. This change last for 24 hours after consumption.
