This power creates a creature not unlike an [[SRD:Astral Construct|astral construct]], but incapable of offensive action and does not get the usual astral construct menu choices.  Instead, it is designed to be used as a mount.  You can create a Small, Medium, or Large construct with a saddle.  The construct has effective HD equal to its manifester level, 10 hp per manifester level, and AC of 10 + your manifester level as a natural armor bonus + it's size modifier (if any).  It has the saving throws of the manifester.  Its appearance and shape is left up to the manifester, but it starts out with a carrying capacity of 100 lbs + 100 lbs per manifester level and a move speed of 50 ft.

The astral mount obeys the commands of the manifester (or anyone the manifester assigns it to listen to) and does not require ride checks to use, but may still need ride checks for the rider to pull off any tricks, help it evade damage, and in other situations.

If you spend 2 additional power points, the mount gains a climb speed equal to half its land speed.

If you spend 4 additional power points, the mount gains a swim speed equal to its land speed.  It is immune to pressure damage and gains blindsense out to 60 ft, but only through water.

If you spend 4 additional power points, the mount gains a burrow speed equal to half its land speed.  It can burrow without the rider falling off.  It also gains tremorsense out to 60 ft.

If you spend 4 additional power points, the mount increases (or decreases) in size by one step.  You can apply this multiple times, to a minimum of Fine and a maximum of Colossal.

If you spend 6 additional power points, the mount gains a fly speed (good maneuverability) equal to its land speed.
