The spells must be of the highest level she can cast or lower and may be chosen from both the Cleric spell list or the Sorcerer/Wizard spell list. A depraved cultist's spells count as both arcane and divine; this requires an unholy symbol and incurs spell failure from armor or shields.

She uses her eldritch favor to pay the insight cost or madness cost of [[Dark Insight Spells (3.5e Variant Rule)|dark insight spells]] or to avoid [[Dark Insight (3.5e Variant Rule)|dark insight]] or [[Mindbreak (3.5e Variant Rule)|madness]]. Her eldritch favor pool recovers at the start of each day and can be used in the following ways:

* Whenever she has to pay an insight cost when casting a spell, she may subtract a single point from her eldritch favor pool instead.
* Whenever she would gain [[Mindbreak (3.5e Variant Rule)|madness]], she can instead lose a number of points from her eldritch favor pool equal to half the madness she would take (minimum of 1).
