All of the following are class features of the Blade of the Heavens.

'''{{Anchor|Spellcasting}}:''' At each level, you gain new spells per day and an increase in caster level (and spells known, if applicable) as if you had also gained a level in a spellcasting class to which you belonged before adding the prestige class level. You do not, however, gain any other benefit a character of that class would have gained. If you had more than one spellcasting class before becoming a Blade of the Heavens, you must decide to which class to add each level for the purpose of determining spells per day, caster level, and spells known.

'''{{Anchor|Paladin Abilities}}:'''  If a blade of the heavens had levels in paladin she may add her level of blade of the heavens of her paladin level to determine the strength of any of her paladin class features and the number of time per day/encounter she may use those class features. She does not receive any new class features however. This do mot apply to the smite evil class feature (since it get a better progression below).

'''{{Anchor|Smite Evil}} {{Su}}:''' At 1st level a blade of heavens receive smite evil as a [[SRD:Paladin|paladin]] of her character level. If she had level in paladins, she had her class level+4 to that class to determine the power and the amount of time her smite evil class feature can be used. 

Additionally a blade of the Heavens augment the basic function of smiting evil, a blade of the Heavens gains special abilities that operate whenever she smites.

''Good-Aligned:'' At 1st level when a blade of the Heavens smite, her weapon count as good-aligned and for the purpose of overcoming damage reduction. If her weapon was already good-aligned her smite instead ignore any damage reduction of any evil creatures.

''Blessed:'' Whenever a 3rd level blade of the Heavens smite her weapon gain all the benefits of the [[SRD:Bless Weapon|''bless weapon'']] spell, unlike the spell this ability works even if the weapon has a magical effect related to critical hits.

''Ghost Touch:'' A 5th level blade of the Heavens count any weapon she wield as [[SRD:Ghost Touch (Weapon Enhancement)|ghost touch]] when smiting.

''Repelling:'' A 7th level blade of the Heavens may force any evil outsider or evil undead creature she smite to make a will save (DC 10 +1/2 HD + her [[Charisma]] bonus) or flee from her as if it was [[SRD:Frightened|frightened]] for 1 round per class level. A creature who succeed it save is immune to this effect for 24 hours.

''Chain:'' When a 9th level blade of the Heaven successfully smite a creature, she may spend an additional smite attempt to fire a [[Chain Solar Bolt (3.5e Spell)|''chain solar bolt'']] from the tip of her weapon, with a caster level equal to her character level. The target of the smite must be the primary target.  

'''{{Anchor|Exalted Zeal}} {{Ex}}:''' A 2nd level blade of the heavens receive [[Exalted Zeal (3.5e Feat)|Exalted Zeal]] as a bonus feat. If she already possessed the feat she gain an additional use of smite evil instead.

Whiel in any good-aligned plane the natural denizen of the plane are one step friendlier than normal (to a maximum of friendly), while in her chosen plane however the denizen are two step friendlier (to a maximum of helpful).

Any penalties she may have already incurred, however, remain in place.

Bonuses still accrue, and the blade of the heavens still dies of old age when her time is up.

'''{{Anchor|Grace of the Heavens}} {{Ex}}:''' At 8th level a blade of the Heavens may once per hour succeed any saving throw as if she rolled a natural 20. 

'''{{Anchor|Paragon of the Heavens}}:''' A 10th level blade of the Heavens become an [[SRD:Outsider|outsider]], she count as native to her chosen plane but is resurrected as a creature of her former type. If you die, you are [[SRD:Resurrection|''resurrected'']] on your chosen plane 24 hours later at no level loss or cost, this effect does not apply if your soul is somehow trapped or prevented from resurrecting. Additionally she gain a special ability based on the chosen plane:

''Arcadia:'' You can smite chaotic creature with your smite evil class feature. You can smite evil creature with your smite chaos class feature.

''Celestia:'' You radiate light as [[SRD:Daylight|''daylight'']] spell, as long as you do all evil creatures within 30 ft. of you are [[SRD:Dazzled|dazzled]]. 

''Bytopia:'' You gain a fly speed of 60 ft. (perfect) and you are immune to any spell that change gravity. 

''Elysium:'' You are immune to [compulsion] effect.

''Beastlands:'' Animals and magical beast are never hostile to you, unless you provoke or attack them. Magical beasts with a Intelligence of 3 or higher are not affected by this ability.

''Arborea:'' By spending one smite attempt you may replicate the effect of [[Call Lightning (3.5e Spell)|''call lightning'']] with a caster level equal to your character level, if you spend 3 you replicate [[Call Lightning Storm (3.5e Spell)|''call lightning storm'']] instead. 

''Ysgard:'' You gain one ''Creature Killer'' feat as a bonus feat.
