==Potion of Necrotic Rage==

A foul liquid that looks like runny tar, with a sickly green shine, the potion of necrotic rage is a dangerous draught.  [[Summary::The potion grants great strength and defensive power, but renders the imbiber a mindless, soulless, undead killing machine for its duration.]]  

Upon imbibing the potion, the drinker gains a ghastly pale expression and his body appears to rot away in seconds.  His creature type changes to [[SRD:Undead Type|undead]], and he loses his [[SRD:Intelligence|Intelligence]] and [[SRD:Constitution|Constitution]] scores, although he retains his normal hit points in spite of his [[SRD:Constitution|Constitution]] becoming —.  Additionally, he gains darkvision out to 60 feet, immunity to [[SRD:Mind-Affecting Effect|mind-affecting effects]] (charms, compulsions, phantasms, patterns, and morale effects), [[SRD:Poisons|poisons]], sleep effects, [[SRD:Paralyzed|paralysis]], [[SRD:Stunned|stunning]], [[SRD:Disease|diseases]] and [[SRD:Death Effect|death effects]].  He is not subject to critical hits, nonlethal damage, ability drain or energy drain. He is immune to damage to his physical ability scores (Strength, Dexterity, and Constitution), as well as to [[SRD:Fatigued|fatigue]] and [[SRD:Exhausted|exhaustion]] effects, and like any undead, is destroyed if reduced to 0 hp.  He gains immunity to any effect that requires a [[SRD:Saving Throw|Fortitude]] save (unless the effect also works on objects or is harmless), and does not breath, eat or sleep.  He gains a +4 profane bonus on [[SRD:Strength|Strength]] and [[SRD:Dexterity|Dexterity]], a +5 natural armor bonus, [[SRD:Fast Healing|fast healing]] 5, and [[SRD:Damage Reduction|damage reduction]] 10/good.  Finally, he gains a +4 bonus to resist turning.

In exchange for this great power, he loses hid sense of self, becoming a mindless monster.  He loses all sense of friend or foe, simply attacking the closest opponent, or the opponent which has harmed him the most at his choosing, regardless if they are ally or not.  he do not stop attacking until all targets have been slain.  He retains his weapon and armor proficiencies, feats, extraordinary abilities, and supernatural abilities which are a part of his body (such as a dragon's breath) but loses any spellcasting ability for the duration.  

The undead rage lasts for 1 minute, after which he is immediately [[SRD:Nauseated|nauseated]] for 5 rounds, and [[SRD:Sickened|sickened]] for 5 rounds afterwards as his body attempts to purge the necromantic energy.  The potion is a risk... many a hero has consumed it, only to find not only the enemy, but also allies have fallen to their wrath.
