The Null Crown is a large, but surprisingly light headgear that are bounded to the head of the suffered by [[Dead Iron (3.5e Equipment)|dead iron]] spikes. The Crown is a tight fit so that the spellcaster is alway reminded of his weakness. The last perk to the crown is that it potency increases with the wearer's willpower. A sad discovery as a rogue Cardinal was able to project a powerful null field, disabling the magic gears of his captor before escaping.''

The wearer of the crown radiate an [[SRD:Antimagic Field|Antimagic Field]] whose radius is based on it wearer's [[SRD:Wisdom|wisdom]] modifier (see table below). The crown cannot be deactivated by its wearer and is effectively locked on his head, though a simple [[Dead Iron (3.5e Equipment)|dead iron]] key open the lock. Otherwise the lock can be opened by a [[SRD:Open Lock Skill|open lock]] skill check (DC 35). 

The Null Crown's [[SRD:Antimagic Field|antimagic field]] can never suppressed by its own effect or the effects of other [[SRD:Antimagic Field|antimagic fields]].
