A small clay pot filled with a mixture of heavy and light crude oil, it is a more weaponized version of typical [[SRD:Oil|lamp oil]].  It can be thrown as a grenade weapon with a range of 10 ft, dealing no damage on impact but covering any target and a 5 ft square in black oil.  If the square or creature takes 1 point of fire damage, the oil bursts into flame dealing 1d6 fire damage immediately.  Oil sticks until washed off, or until detonated.  On smooth non-porous surfaces (such as stone, but not soil or sand) it also leaves the area slippery as if covered in ''[[SRD:Grease|grease]]'' until detonation or natural erosion removes it in 1d4 days.
