Battle barmaids come from two stocks. Many of them are former adventurers who retired and opened up a bar or went to work in a tavern. Others are regular barmaids and barmen who, after dealing with countless raunchy and drunk adventurers, started gaining class levels. Despite its name (because females make most of the battle barmaids), the prestige class is open to both genders; the male version, battle barmen, tend to stay behind the counter a little bit more, and are thus less likely to come into contact with adventurers needing a kicking. The Battle Barmaid class covers all barmaids and barmen, from the established and renowned butler to the seductive wench.

She can also designate a single door on the material plane that leads to her tavern; any creatures passing through that door are instead transported to her tavern (will negates) and the entrance of the tavern demiplane leads to the chosen door. The battle barmaid may change the door which lead to her tavern with a 8 hours ritual.
