In any case a hedge knight does not have a steed, but wandering the land in heavy armor has made them endurant and able to tolerate the heaviest of armor. Almost all hedge knights are without masters, as the name suggests. However, many of them follow the principles of chivalry. Those who survive in such harsh conditions are deeply resolved, even beyond their peers.
