The mage disintegrates the iron ingot into a heavy ray of metallic particles accelerated in a stream of kinetic energy. The matter ray deals 1d12 damage per caster level (up to 10d12 at level 10) of bludgeoning, slashing, and piercing damage. All creatures on the path can roll a [[Reflex]] save to halve damage. As all physical damage, the damage resistance acts normally. All items on the path also suffer damage if there are of medium size or larger.
