'''Gnolloch''' means "cursed gnoll". Once in a great while, a gnoll will, through strength of will, win free of its hunger and turn its back on {{5ep|Yeenoghu}}. When this happens, the gnoll is cursed by Yeenoghu to never hunger again. So a gnolloch will only eat when it remembers to do so. Because of this a gnolloch is often just one step away from {{srd5lc|Exhaustion}}.

Gnollochs are exiled from gnoll society, and are one of only a few things that a gnoll will not eat (from fear of also being cursed). Gnollochs are often lone wanderers, but sometimes will find a sympathetic ear and be allowed to join a band of other {{srd5lc|Humanoid}}s.
