Upon completing this spell, everything within 120 feet of you is blasted with darkness. Victims take 1d10 damage per [[SRD:Caster Level|caster level]]; in addition, they gain 1d4 [[SRD:Negative Levels|negative levels]] per 3 caster levels and take 2 points of [[Constitution]] [[SRD:Ability Damage|damage]]. A successful Reflex save negates the Constitution damage and halves the hit point damage and negative levels.

[[SRD:Vampire|Vampires]] cast this spell with a +2 bonus to caster level and a +1 increase to the save DC and Constitution damage.

Demonic Meggido counters and dispels [Light] spells of 9th level or lower, and can be countered by [Light] spells of 9th level or higher. (Note that the only spell level higher than 9th level is epic spells.)
