Brambles are {{srd5lc|Tiny}} anthropoid {{srd5lc|Fey}} (about 3" tall). Their skin is brown and wrinkled. Their ears and nails are very pointed. They have spines or quills that extend through their armor.

Brambles often ride squirrels, hedgehogs, bats or other {{srd5lc|Tiny}} or {{srd5lc|Small}} {{srd5lc|Beast}}s as {{srd5lc|Mount}}s. When they cast {{5espell|Find Steed}}, the steed often takes on one of these forms.
